Nude Ballet Shoes

For about a century, "nude" in dancewear meant one colour: a pale pink-beige that was nude on some dancers and a costume on everyone else. We use the word the way it should have been used all along. Nude means your colour.

Six shades of nude. Cacao and Kola for deep skin, Chai and Dune for medium, Shea and Pearl for light. Each pair has a cool and a warm undertone, so the shoe reads as skin rather than as something sitting on top of it.

If you came here looking for the traditional pale nude, Shea (warm) and Pearl (cool) are the lightest two, and unlike the old single shade you can pick the undertone that matches yours.

Canvas split sole, for adults from Women 5 to 13 and kids from Little Kid 5 to Big Kid 2. If you are between two shades, go deeper: a shoe a touch darker than the skin reads as shadow, a touch lighter reads as a pale patch. Our size and shade guide covers both fit and undertone.
